How well would you guys think this would work for a 2 stroke applications. Stick it on the end of the crank to check low speed idle.

You would need to find a junk clutch cover and drill a hole at the end of the crank to adjust the high. But would a contact tach be any more accurate to justify the effort.
I could get 6 Hardline tachs for that price, and they are dead nutz accurate without doing any cutting on saw parts. A few zip ties, and youre done
