What's wrong with the top end? I haven't found any aftermarket options for the 271 or 291. If there is just aluminum transfer on the cylinder, try using Mastermind's method of removing it. I have fixed a couple 271's this way with good results. Pistons are relatively easy to find. Here is the link to Mastermind's video: (part 1 of 2)
