You have good folks like D Dave in the US but im afraid its a bit harder to find good aftermarket parts In the UK. Postage is the big killer as well , Can be a deal buster .

I bought it for a 024 av ... has a far more stable idle now than with the Tillitson HU 54 f on it. The H & L jets tune in slightly different (H seemed to be way rich at 1 turn out ) but the basic setting position allowed start up ok then i played around with TAC and found the right stable set up.

I finally got arpund to trying out the o 26 with the new aftermarket carb. Had a little problem with the saw not tuning very well so pulled carb back off and pressure tested. Would not hold presure. Was leaking at the needle valve. Put the needle valve on it from the old carb and holds pressure. Seems to be working good now. I might pick up a replacement carb kit so i have it just in case.

Thats a pain...I suppose as long as the price differential inc a carb kit is big enough to make the faff worth your while.

I think they're all from China. You just pay a lot more for a Stihl wrapper.
