Working on a Stihl MS441c is never a cakewalk -- kind of like separating candy from a baby gorilla. Word has it that the Stihl guys who wrote the Service Manual had to be treated for brain exhaustion and suffered nervous breakdowns.

I agree it's overly complicated for a chainsaw.
And yes, the manual for it is awful. Must have been written during Oktoberfest..

Anywho, I recently picked up six 441 parts saws, some are MT some are regular carb, in case you find yourself in need of other parts.......

Im looking for an Arctic M-tronic flywheel, if you have one?

None of them are arctic, just 441's with 3/4 wraps.

I don't think it's correct. I'm coming up with fitting a 362c only?

I think it will still fit.....but can't confirm that it will run it correctly.

I know the wiring is different than what's in the carb box and based off my memory the coil wire seems too short.


If it's just wiring, I can splice that no problem.

None of that goes to the coil.

Yes you are correct, it is for a MS 362 C. If your serial no. is before 181 222 948 you need the carburetor, control unit set 1138 007 1008 to fit the older version.

Got it. That wiring came with the ebay coil.....

Yeah. None of that wiring works in the 441. The coil with physically fit, but I don't it's firmware will run the 441 correctly.
