is the 064 hybrid the fastest and strongest with the most torque of the three? I was hoping the 661 would end up with the most grunt
The Hybrid is fastest and has the most grunt but there all 3 pretty close.

The 661 would be my choice for work because no matter how far it's ported the mtronic takes good care of it so you don't have to constantly tune it.

And I wanna hear your opinion on AV. That's why I bought one. Lol.

The new saws are springers, the older saws are rubber mount AV.
The only springer saw that I haved used has been a Husqvarna 345. They are very nice. All my Stihls are rubber mount.

I don't ever notice vibs.
I can put down the 661 and pick up a 066 and never notice a difference.

441 is the only saw I notice that feels smooth

A 661 has a great av setup.
Springs but still solid

I agree J, the 661 is about the only spring saw that just feels right to me.

To me the 390 feels better than the 395 and 7900. I need to spend some time with the 7900. I ran one that Mike built and although it cut like crazy the feel of it just put me off a bit.

I don't care for the feel of a 7900 although the last one I ported had a full wrap and was much better,I liked it quite a bit.

Made it a little heavier but it did definitely make a difference.

Feels more sturdy.

This thread is strangely making me think I want a 395 that I've seen for the right price. I had been hanging out for a 3120, but....hmmmm

Certainly a 661 is out of the price range at the moment.

I held off so long to have it ported because I was impressed by it that much stock lol.

I mean I had the 064 one day and I wanted it ported haha.
