I ghettoed a maxflo for the 661 Deets you are smart enough to do one for 461.

I'd like the nice fitted black cover, I could put a maxflo on with no cover. 461 is my falling saw though, it's nice to have a cover so the thorns and branches don't tear up the element

I tired the stock filter on my 661 one cut threw it away and swapped in the maxflow. I really don't understand how we go backwards in design now days.

The filter setup is terrible but I rarely see one wore out from dust,almost never really.

A 395 has a good filter setup but if you take it and the stihl apart after the same amount of time you won't see any difference. Wood dust isn't like a concrete saw,I've only seen a handful of saws with the plating worn off around the intake.

The best part of running the Max Flow cover, thats so far has been unspoken, is how the Max Flow cover actually keeps the filter cleaner; longer than if you used the stock cover (however its modified) and it also keeps it cleaner much longer than running a bare filter

we do this to be consistent in testing
