Well it's been raining here a lot lately so I thought I would do some work on my 630. My 034 super with the mods I have done is a bit faster so let's see what we can do. I'm thinking base delete, muffler mod and some porting!
I'll get the stock numbers here shortly and we will take it from there.

I've never been inside a 1990 630 super before but I have several 670's. It surprised me to see a ks cylinder. Oh and it doesn't have a cast key! So I'll probably do .020 off the key.
Stock numbers
Exh- 105
Trans- 124
Intake- 73

My best runner i never timed but went no gasket up 1mm on ex and down 1mm on intake. Tapered uppers to intake and it rocks big time. Maybe i should degree it????

Do the 630 supers have thin ring pistons?

Sometimes I overlook things started this saw it had an obvious air leak so I tore the flywheel and clutch off to check the seals one looked perfect and the oiler side I didn't like so much so I ordered new seals. Well today I degreed the cylinder again and seen that I didn't even put the intake manifold gasket in . I'm guessing that was my air leak! Buts I'm replacing that one seal anyhow. Saw ended up at
104

With squish at .027
I wish I had a lathe to tighten that up a bit!

Look very close at the gasket from any suspected aftermarket supplier. The impulse does not usually line up good. Now mine have cracked the intake on 2 of them and had them 3 d printed years ago. The 2 630s i have both had that problem so it must happen semi frequently. Oh they are/were nla then sure they are still nla. Sure someone has new used or spares somowhere but im way too impatient for the waiting game and why i usually target toys with plentiful parts. Still get a few sentimental ones like these that i had to finish
