I think the 6100 starts as easy as the 421. Both are shocking. Makes you really scratch your head why others can't make there saws start as easy as Dolmars. As far as everything else.

yep, I see that now. both of mine went back in the boxes when I got them back. Didn't study their "lines". 1 went to California. The other is going to that supposed "tire kicker" @skippy in PA.:zplayita:

Ol Tire Kicker bought a saw from you? Dang........but I thought......

For the record........Chris has bought a lot of saws from members here. Including me.

I'm trying to get to that 620. Out of all the saws on my schedule I'm really wanting it on the bench the most. I had a couple of guys that lost their backup saws over the last few days and asked me to move their saws that were here up. I can't say no to a man that needs his saw to feed his family.

As reliable yes but not as easy

LOL...we might be splitting hairs here but given the fact that the Echo's come with a decomp valve, I would have to disagree with you. Half a easy pull just like your Dolly and she fires right up (warm). For the sake of argument, they are both known to be easy starters.

You are probably right. I forget about the decomp as I never use them. I am just that lazy one extra step is way too much.

I agree with you on using the decomp. I never use them on my stock saws...still easy to start with or without. But ported, with 200 psi+ compression, decomp is nice to have when I get tired.

Randy, I'll be very interested in what you can do with a 620. Your 6100 is OUTSTANDING!!!!! Mines pretty good but doesn't have the bottom end like your.
I ran both my 620 & 6100 yesterday and I'd say the things
620 has more of the torque curve I like, but damb that Dolmar is fast!!!
It's going to be good to see what YOU can get outta one compared to a horse filer like me.
Defiantly got a following on this one "Ol Wise One"!!!

Doesn't get much better than that!

Moobs-this forum is head and shoulders above the others - just a bunch of stand-up fellers!

Ps: the 562 is still the best 60cc'er on the market!!!!

;)

:starwars-smiley:
562 had it's day. Mark my words, Randy's gonna see a heap of 6100s come across the bench in the coming months.
