You have35 saws a 1000 dollars is to much lol

I can tell you for certain I have PD $1000.00 for one saw on that list, I also know I have built all the saws on that list for far less then that. I dnt buy into the hype of new models, until this year I have never kept a mtronic or autotune saw.

If you count our federal, state, local, and all the others they make up, it is probably close.

We've got those on top of the 24% sales tax. I have to pay 1400 EU every Jan 1st just to put my 16 year old Grand Cherokee on the road.

An additional 650 for the 23 year old Kia. $8+ per gallon for gas. 2100 EU per year property tax.

Additional income tax contribution every year between 2-5K EU, because we are taxed on Cost of Living.

Reported income is taxed up to 45%. Average salary is like 800EU per month.

Screw that, time to move to ‘merica’!

$7.25/HR is minimum wage. My Father was making $28/HR in 2008 before the crash. Afterwards he had to take a 48 percent pay cut and go to night shift to keep a job. I have never made even half as much.
your dad had a good pay Joe back in 08.
Industrial workers in Norway is around 24-30$ per hour, when I retired in 15th, early retirement, I earned close to 30$ an hour.

Just be happy you guys aren't paying 24% tax on all goods and services.
we have 25% tax on all goods and services Dan :D

You’re getting paid by the wrong people if you don’t keep increasing. I hate it because everything goes up and the dollar is worth less but I cannot stop that. All I can do is ride the wave.

Shoot, isn’t minimum wage something like $12/hr now?
Not even close. It's around $8

I know most of you folks are not as old as me, but I can remember when the max Fed Tax rate was 75% and NYS was 15%. Kennedy cut the rates (imagine a Democrat who said " ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country").

Even in today's world, as I am self employed, I get to pay both halves of SS in addition to the above mentioned taxes.

If we don't reduce the deficit, you folks know what is coming.

Everyone needs to start their best running saw and cut wood for a while today! I agree with a lot that's been said but we still have to keep moving on the world's turning!

I tried to run the 6100, but it wouldn't start on the mountain. Grabbed the PS630/7910 and mowed down a fir that died recently.

24" bar with a loop of Stihl RS that's been sharpened once. Cut like a hot knife through butter.

We're at 23% on goods and 13 on services, I think. Still, taxing services just means folks start paying in cash.
You hanging around up there with Apetor? I freakin love all of the Scandilands. Good friends in Denmark and Sweden.

its not mutch better in germany right now... around 7$ for the gallon 98 octan. I can still hit unlimited speed on the autobahn in some sectors but driving a powerful car is more and more an aspect of luxury. Even to get the driving licencse cost you around 2200$ nowadays!

When I was still in my first marriage, her Uncle came over from Germany. A really nice guy, I really liked him. He was into guns, and we took him out Woodchuck hunting on a large farm in Upstate NY. He could not get over that we were allowed to do that! I'm hoping it stays that way, freedom is often not fully appreciated till it is gone. Already NY has ridiculous restrictions on the age someone has to be to shoot a gun. Does it make any sense that you can not learn to shoot before you are allowed to hunt??? The laws are just stupid!

Wisconsin recently eliminated the minimum age requirement for deer hunting. You can pull a tag as soon as they cut your umbilical cord now.
