462 muffler gasket Help

I think it’s more of a US and Canadian forestry thing than epa.

No 462 I have been in had a gasket.

If the muffler is uncorked, there shouldn’t be enough pressure to make a gasket necessary IMHO. I’d have no problem keeping it out of the muffler.
