Dat wuz da 461, the heads of the screws that hold the pokey thingy under the piston need to be ground down on some saws.Was the 462 the saw that needed the screws in the crank case ground down if no gasket is used? Could it be developing a leak at high temps?
I dont disagree. Not sure how I measured .019 when I took the gasket out originally. Thinking back I believe I checked it before pulling the gasket and it was .0340.145 squish is still too tight, even by my standards and I’ve been known to run 0.016 in 90cc saws.
