It's a good OEM crank with no play.Obviously you;ve checked the big end,and pin bearing for play
is the crank aftermarket?
On another case it's .022.Piston compression height?
I'm just going to make a thick aluminum gasket to get the cylinder up where it needs to be.
I've already cut .040 out of the squish band and I don't want to raise the compression anymore, I used different case when I was setting the squish.Why not cut the squish band and get the compression?
Thanks for the info, It looks like around .045 was taken off the case and I made a spacer out of some aluminum.There’s an .034-.040 paper OEM gasket for the 044. It’s green. Came on the saws sold in areas of the world where the fuel is bad to intentionally lower compression.
I use it on hybrid builds with 272 slugs.
It does look like your case was decked, hopefully properly.
