Ice seems to work as well as or maybe better than the meds. And without the stomach ache they come with. I figure some coffee and a cooler of ice packs for the ride down and I'll be good to go.

Flexeril is a good nondrowsy MR I've had good luck with.

It gives me almost instant relief! Now I dont go as far as putting my hands down but just moving your spine in the opposite range than its use to moving helps straight them discs out.
