This is a question about comparisons. I’m just trying to understand the differences and why Husky has two saws so close together in size. Here is my understanding, somebody please correct me if I’m wrong. The 390XP developed from the 385XP. It has a side mount chain tensioner, weighs less than the 395, and shares some parts with the 372. It’s geared more towards falling and bucking with less oiler capacity and torque for long bars. The 395XP came from the 288, not sure if that’s correct. It’s heavier, has more torque, a front mount tensioner and is a better saw for milling, cutting stumps and long bars over 36”. Is this right?
