372xt carb on 390xp?

I liked the rwj carb on a 385 for throttle response. As far as power at wide open throttle, a rwj 4' Walbro wj116 or tillotson 296, I could never tell a difference.

When rebuilding a carb Mike do u pull the welch and the whole 9yds?

It depends on how bad it looks. A lot just need the metering diaphragm swapped and they run fine. Others need everything in the kit.

Me either. Can of wal mart carb spray works for me

Check valves sometimes end up not working right after running the carb too long. I'm not sure why.

Do u press a nozzle out and new one in?

I normally replace the carb.

On the larger carbs like the 3120, I do mods that require me to press the nozzle out.
