Austin, you know better than me what size wood you're cutting, but I can say that in my experience I use a 50cc saw about 5-10x more than a 90cc saw. A big saw is a great tool, but the 346 is a saw I reach for way way more often. With the price of NE top ends being so cheap, and the range of reasonably priced saws you can toss one on, I don't think you could go wrong putting one of those together.

I cut today with a coworker that had a 441. No foul words or brand war fighting was exchanged! Just mutual respect among fellow loggers. His 441 was in good tune for a stocker. His face did lite up when he tried my modified 7900... lets just say he liked it. Lol
That’s how I am too Mason. I don’t care what color it is, I appreciate And respect a good running well built saw. Any poking I do about brands is all Jeff’s fault @RI Chevy. Lol!

You learn after a while you can have a bad ass saw of any brand... but it comes down to your skills. My boss could cut circles around me using a stock 372 and me a 661/395. Not that I’m that bad lol... he just has more experience... simple as that. I’m still learning!
Absolutely! A ported saw just gets me in trouble faster:risas3:

Yeah I've been thinking of getting a 346... First off it was the first good saw my dad ever let me use. and second... its just a good all around saw for firewood and liming logs... But I still cant wait to cut with my 372:):):aplastao:

One thing that I forgot to add was that I modified a newer style 372 brake flag to make it fit on my saw. Its temporary until I get the money to get a new one... I'll take a picture of it when I get home.

Let me know when you are ready for a 346 project, I always seems to have a couple laying around

Hi Andy, how have you been?!!!!

@ZukiRyder400 I would buy anything this man has for sale. Awesome guy to deal with and a great friend.
Harrumph!

(I second this)

Yeah Austin, a 346 is probably your most logical "next saw". They are terrific for all round use. They are fast, light, easy to handle and will cut 18-20" wood when needed. Everyone should have a good 50cc in the stable, whichever color you like. ;)
