My 362XP is one of the rare large bar mount versions. It’s dated 2005 and I believe it was only made in that configuration for one year. It’s a strong runner but really is pointless as it weighs the same as a 372xp OE. The small bar mount version may be lighter and Offer an advantage not sure.

I actually have a 362 and the 2063 J red on the bench right now. i converted them over to large mount studs and did a little mod to there clutch cover beacuse im cheap and used what i had around . as for @Spike60 i believe the large mount 362 were back introduced from 2005 to 2006.

Isn’t the oiler slot height and chain adjuster height different on K095 mount saws? I remember a freind mentioned trying this on a Jonsered 2260 with large mount studs, but I don’t think it’s as simple as just swapping studs and voila a large mount... but I hope I’m wrong cause I don’t like husky baby mount. Lol

HE is correct but its not a hard conversion if you use the the bar K095 bar plate you just have to grind out a bit of the case and the bar plate (as seen in the pic ) . you also have to trim the chain adjuster a hair shorter to work with a bar . if you mod it like this one it the pic . but you have to be very careful you dont go to deep into the case or you will put a hole in the oil tank . just a few mins of grinding and good to go . one in the pic is a little wide i didnt need to go so wide but it works well . you also can make it look alot better thats just roughing it lol

that break is kind of cosmetic in a way. It keeps the debris from the flywheel and keeps the air coming in through the recoil cover and has one mount for the cover. Ultimate fire wood repair. I would go for jb weld with possibly 4 small holes total with some ss .030 safety wire to hold it together while it sets up. To strengthen it up...remove the wire cover the outside with something thin like .040 al sheet and a thin layer of jb weld then rivet the "patch on from the outside" assuming there is room have a rivet on each side of the break......or get a case half....
good luck
