Just so you guys know HLS apparently has the 372 fuel tanks again. Kinda sucks because the other night when I trying to get a couple it kept telling me they weren’t available :mad::mad::(:(

If you purchase an HLS tank, replace red throttle cable with old white oem cable. Those red ones will work, but are stiff and hang up at times. I have purchased a few of them and worked well. Hard to tell difference from oem. Good Luck with your builds.

I find thst if a reasonable size of tube is used the sound is pretty mild. It also depends on if the tube sticks into the inside of the muffler any. The further in the more mellow the tone. Nice job so far

They were 1 “ long pieces with about an equal split inside to outside and brazed in. It should be mellow but pretty loud

Finding parts sucks lol. But I did get a good start on fabricating myself a case splitter. I’ve also got a question about it. Should the tops be level with each other or should they be offset like they are in the picture. I copied this one from measurements off a google search. Some look even across the top but others don’t. I’m talking about second picture. Opinions?!???

What did you use to cut them pieces out? Looks good. I might have to send you a muffler to mod it looks good to.

You gotta tell me what your screen name means. I keep thinking I'm on a VW forum when I read it.

I’ll get a pic of the factory splitter I have in a little bit. Want any measurements of anything?
