Porting and decking is done. Just need to get some time to shoot and edit the rest of the rebuild.

It will be like any of my other builds.... nuthin too fancy. Hyway 45mm top end. Muff mod

Somewhere around 105 125 78

Personally. ..I have a hard time getting the transfers exact. ...so my transfers end up between 121 and 125 ....

Intake is a little easier ....Lower it by a couple mm and call it a day :)

I'm really loosey goosey when it comes to port work....and they all seem to run nice :)

Randy after recheckin mine when all back together I ended up 104.5/123.5/75. What will the longer intake at 78 do for it?

You really won't see much difference Keith. Your numbers are great too. Port shapes and sizes play a big role in all this stuff too. I liked to way you did your lowers BTW.

I talked to Brad not long ago about how he was doing the 346. He said he matches the lowers a little more than I do. That might be a better way to go.......I've had a few guys tell me that his 346 was a bad little dude. I second guess myself a lot ya know.

Randy I ran one of Brads NE346xp and I dont know what he had in it but it was a very impressive saw . I studied your 346 revisit thread before I ported mine though!!

I have a vid of me dismantling brads 340 346xp that he did for the ct gtg. It was stronger than mine. He did have less blowdown and he had a 359 intake setup.

It was stronger than mine. Dyno results prove it.

Also....none of mine have cut squish or popups. His had an 040 pop I think

What was the verdict on this saw Matt? Bad intake boot?

Yes yes....patience gents.

The downfall of the saw was a ripped impulse nipple....causing a major air leak.

The bearings and seals are fine....but I'll change them anyway.

Yes, Brad builds a very impressive 346.

Mine refused to start today. It's been acting a little wonky. Time to go thru the carb I reckon. I ended up using Bubbas Husky 55.
