Where do you usually see stock 254’s revving to? The rpm mine achieved while still at a safe tune surprised me. I was expecting somewhere around 13.3 to 13.8k being stock.

Good plan. I’ll get a new chain too, should be off the same roll when we get them all together. Just hope the factory grind is good, found out today my rakers are too tall for sugar maple, chain skated pretty bad unless I was prying on it. Must be Oregon sets their chains up for pine

Now I’m kinda wondering what cc my 51 was. Always thought it was a 51 cc but doesn’t make much sense to have the 51 and 55 having the same cc. Maybe it was just porting that made the difference? [emoji848]

Thanks for posting Tor, where you get this stuff I’ll never know but we sure do appreciate it.

Hope I’m not pushing my 254 too hard. The tune responded well to carb adjustments and the piston is still showing a very wet wash, she’s running safe for sure. I’ll back it down after this cookie fest is over.
