Only thing awesome about the 500 is that it weighs next to nothing. Even with an 18" bar..Maybe because its more awesome than a MS362 C-M II
Well that looks like it..
But why would Echo put that on the CS500?
It is a full chisel cutter. So it is the same cutter as LPX? Just a different ramp.

It did file rather poorly. Never was very fast. At it's best, it was cutting "OK"..Just guessing with the little amount of info on the page. I'd say it's the same cutter just factory ground for more longevity instead of speed.
I think I have an 18" loop of .325x.050 Husqvarna branded square grind somewhere. Will try to get a pic & PN. I think it's still in the box. Never used because I don't have a file for it. Bought on accident at Paul Bunyan show a couple years ago. I had two of them and just hogged the one I used out with a round file I think.
So I've been slacking, but as promised...

My phone doesn't want to take a good pic of it.
I don't know if it will show, but the profile is different from other chains I have. Seems that I remember the chips being narrower and more pointy when I used the other one I had.
Browser won't open due to redirects, but look at the description for H23:
As @Cut4fun link says that is husky branded lpx.

Same as the chain on the right.
So is it square or round? What am I dealing with here? "Round full chisel"? "semi-square"? I am genuinely curious as I'm not very knowledgeable on chain. I do know a 3/16 round file doesn't fit it very well.
