No.

I like it when the wind blows too.

Brewz,

I don't own a 3120, but if I did, it would have the modified Carb with the proper # of adjustments.

Watch the above Knucklehead's video on modifying the 3120 carb, & do it to it: I'm already certain you can complete this task.

Me Personally, I would hopefully pay or barter, the afromentioned Knucklehead to do it, but you don't have the luxury of shipping as economically as we do here in the states.

Good Day.

Randy said yesterday that if someone needs him, or he said he was going to do something, just ring his bell & remind him if he hasn't got back with you.

He was then told he had a head like a bell, & legs like wind chimes.

@Mastermind,

Please share your super duper video on correcting the 3120 carb.

I'm searching, but coming up empty, like normal.

I don't think there's a video for that.

There was a video or thread: it's not the one on ASS circa 2012/13, but another.

When I fit the filter housing to the back of the carb it covers the spot where the H screw would be.
I will get some pictures later

That's normal. There's enough meat to grind and get room.

I promised someone I'd not take pictures of that mod.

Fair enough. If an answer doesn't break your promise.

Out of curiosity I presume the process involves removing and reaming out the fixed jet, drilling h hole and tapping for thread, reinserting the jet, then drilling through into the jet for the needle to sit?

Rpm limit is around 12.5k give or take a little at least on my one.

The standard 3 legged coil is 9,600 from memory, 272 coil is unlimited.

I have got the big girl back together today and she kicked up and ran no problems.
Carb has had its 1.12mm jet taken out to 1.2mm

It looks like the coil is limited to around 9000 RPM.
It runs blubbering rich blowing blue smoke at WOT and revs get to about 9000 and then tacho starts reading lower and is eratic which tells me its on the limiter.

So it looks like I need to get an unlimited coil and have the flywheel re broached.

@Postrip, can you do this locally?

I will order one of the AM 272 coils

Are the AM 3120 coils for newer saws with a different flywheel are they?
