This is a little more modern than scratcher chain .
The dealer i scavenged it from this morning opened his Stihl shop in 1978 and remembers they ordered a roll of 3/8" .050 Kolve chain out of Portland a couple yeara later. He pronounced it "colby" like the cheeae but it is spelled Kolve on the roll label.
Very low rakers on all teeth.
Left cutter dbl scratcher right cutter sbl scratcher etc.
Was intended to be the firewood cutter's new best friend. Dealer never finished selling that one roll and never heard of other products from them.
Said nobody ever asked for a second one and customers said they looked wierd.
