The Av is a 45 year old design, but it is like what stihl continues to use so whats that tell you? :)

They are a nice all around saw I love the sound and the way they balance. A 372 is smoother no doubt about it. Unless the saw is smashed to chit you really cant go wrong with it.

One has to wonder if the Husky 272XP didn't put the Stihl MS 440 out of business. If not, then perhaps the 372XP did. Seems like $300 for a good-running 272XP is a bargain.

Also realized now there is no felling dogs. Need those as well if anyone has those and the hardware necessary I'd appreciate it. So but yeah it runs rim sprocket is toast also sorta could use some help on what the correct one of those is for this saw I know I want a 7 3/8 just not sure what size spline I need

Brand new bar was included and a chain that may fit ..... New slug n jug on it as well I noticed I haven't pulled the muffler to verify but looks like it's gotta come off to add the buckin spikes
