I assume they're in the same league?
All husqvarnas from 61 242 262 266 272 to the nows 372 are made in about the same with small defernces for example diferent oilers
Not quite, the chassis in question started life as the 162SE (48mm closed port), 61 (48mm open port), 66 (50mm open port), 266SE/XP (50mm closed port), 268XP (50mm closed port with revised intake), 268 Special (50mm open port), and 272XP (52mm closed port, essentially a factory "Big Bore" 268XP). The 154, 254, 257, and 262 were a different chassis all together, as was the 238, 42, 242XP, 246.

I needs to find a chetload of parts. You're gonna like that saw Jeremy. I think they're hotter out of the box than a 268.
The only one I've ever run belonged to Stumpy. It ran good stock and also at different levels of his grinding. Impressive it was and I don't think Stumpy ever blew it up. lolAnyone ever port one?
Don't hear much about em
You ever see or hear from him anymore? The only one I've ever run belonged to Stumpy. It ran good stock and also at different levels of his grinding. Impressive it was and I don't think Stumpy ever blew it up. lol
Find a used jug and get a meteor. I pulled the gasket in mine and put a new Caber in...What are my top end choices?
