Yup that was on my 288. I bought some actual Husqvarna orange from my dealer. My next question is... I know you have painted Husqvarna orange in the past, so did you use the proper code or did you find a suitable replacement colour? Cheers bud
It has a code on the can but I’ll have to look when I get home today. I’ll post a pic for yaYou didn’t have a paint code associated to it at all?
Any luck?
Here you go
Sorry man, I forgot all about it. The pic Dustin posted is what I used
Thanks Dustin
Meh, I have started with less...
Looks like you need an intake partition too, don’t see one in the pic, OEM are still available. Looks like a great start too meJust bought a NOS oem crank and bearing set (crank and piston bearings)
Just need a new carb or a good full kit and a new piston kit hopefully meteor do one.
I feel like you now understand why I have become so obsessed with my 254. It really is a great little but not so little saw.My 254 will be at that stage soon. Full overhaul on that one is next. I'd do the 024 first but I like that 254 too dang much!
Yeah I guess I'm weird...LOL! I've been in this 2-series chassis a lot lately and missing parts jump out at me.weird you picked up on that. I got it or got it when I got the saw. It’ll be in the garage somewhere
