I use heat to seat bearings in the case. Should I not be doing this??? I’ve never seen mag shavings after an assembly but if there’s a better way I’m all ears.

Yes heat like Joe said. That's the way we doing it at work and them bearings cost more than these saws lol.

heat is our friend, continue to heat up the case before you slide in them bearings and you will be fine.

This cold pressing technique is something Husky do, I woudnt recommend it at all, the number waranty's they has due blown bearings & cranks is probleby good enough reason to unvoid cold pressing.

Is this a 5 or 6 bolt case? Or is that not the issue here? Has the underlying issue always been cold pressing?
