Last up for now I have 2 used chains. 3/8" .058ga 84dl full chisel. Someone got a little crazy trying to sharpen these. Both have a ton of hook and the rakers look pretty low. They might be good candidates to convert them to square filed. I have never tried square file though so don't take my word for it. View attachment 44810
This would be cool to have for some one. did the narrow kerf make much difference? So it's not a 3/8LP chain? Is it some narrow special chain?OK guys I finally got time to scrounge through my garage and found a few things. I will cover shipping for the 48. Here we go...
First is a 12" 3/8LP narrow kerf bar and Carlton 45dl .043 chain. Bought it just to see if I liked it. I only ran it once to do a little storm damage clean up and then I gave away the saw it was for. It is Woodland Pro "universal mount" I had it in place of A041 mount bar. Will also fit K095, D176 and I believe it will fit the small Stihl saws. View attachment 44804 View attachment 44805
I can't really say I noticed a difference but everything I cut with it was 4" or smaller. I would think it would make a difference cutting in bigger wood. This would be cool to have for some one. did the narrow kerf make much difference? So it's not a 3/8LP chain? Is it some narrow special chain?
I think it would be a bunch of filing for a good round, to switch to square is a lot of filingLast up for now I have 2 used chains. 3/8" .058ga 84dl full chisel. I had read that after filing to square you usually have to clean out the gullet. Would the gullets of these chains be "already cleaned" because of the radical hook?I think it would be a bunch of filing for a good round, to switch to square is a lot of filing
yes, probably... its common practice to use a round grinder to pre-clean a gullet before square grinding/filing.I had read that after filing to square you usually have to clean out the gullet. Would the gullets of these chains be "already cleaned" because of the radical hook?

As long as your saw is set up for 3/8" LP it will work. Send me a pm with your address andi will get it shipped off.Any chance this would fit a little Poulan 1800 woodsman? If so, I would love to have it. I don't know much about the bar numbers yet.

I've got this is in pretty good shape if someone can use it. I had it running a year or so ago.
It's yours for cost of shipping.
Merry Christmas OPE
I received my Christmas bar from Radio today. It finishes my metal badge, red lever 036. It is a sweet bar made in Canada no less. Thanks again. It will be put to use View attachment 44924
My shipping will be slow...
That being said up front I will offer another of the clip on lamps I gave away last year.
