There one in my area would you buy it? Good price , looks clean, all oem. Did they change much between them and the 036's?

Does a Super have the front or side chain adjuster? That's my only complaint about the regular 034.

If the price is right buy it.

Supers typically had the side adjusters. Great saws.

Check the usual and if it oils. Price under $300 is probably ok.

Those things run like a hopped up 036. In my opinion I'd value it higher than a 360 in equal condition.
Yep... easy to work on, good aftermarket support, tons of parts around. The oiler hose is a pain but there are ways around that.
I'd say it's one of Stihl's best.

Buy it. I think worth more than 036. Rarer and West German Made-with badge :headbang:

More of these came with the tilly carb than other 034/036.

The supers I have are side adjust, unlike the standard 034.

I've never seen a German made 036 myself, I definitely could be wrong here.

Buy the saw. If you don't like it, PM me and I'll take it off your hands.

Base gasket delete, muff mod and timing advance-you'll be real close to fully ported. They have a different 48mm jug and different timing than an 036/360 as well.

Well I bought the saw! This guy was the kind of person I love buying from, saw looks great, started first pull he even still had all the paperwork, manuals and skrench. Only thing it need is the trigger has a chunk broke off and is kinda sharp anyway here she is.IMG_20170409_065427803.jpg IMG_20170409_065406158.jpg

There's another one of these on my local Craigslist $140 looks like it spent it's life in a pickup box though but the price isn't terrible

Try a low offer. I get parts 1125 series for $20-$80ish. I usually get it goin again for another $60.

Yep nice saw. Pull handle isnt Stihl but that doesn't matter. The trigger can be filed if sharp or replaced. I think there are AM options or just order one from your dealer.
Pull the recoil and check for crud build up around the coil. Blow it out. Pull the drum and the pastic brake guards... blow everything out and inspect oil line for cuts. Air filters are 034 style and still available. Check your needle cage, tune, go cut wood.

I may have an 036 trigger. Should work.
