I have decided to sell my nice all original 090 with the 41” West German bar, looked all over and it’s so hard to get a good value and although eBay isn’t the best place to look I don’t have much choice but to look there for comparisons. This saw will be shipped in two packages saw in one and bar/chain in another the bucking spike won’t be coming with its for an early contra project I have. Also needs the new choke rod assembly that’s 9$ on eBay for an oem one no idea what happed to original. This saw runs as good as it looks asking price is 2000$ plus shipping o.b.o.

I know it’s getting close to holidays ect and was researching quite a bit on how to price this. Not sure if I’m too high or not but willing to negotiate to a point but won’t be cutting the price in half or anything. At that point I’d just keep it or eBay it.

You are NOT priced too high!

To me holidays NEVER impacted chainsaw purchases.

Do not sell cheap just so someone can flip it making a grand!
Just keep her instead.

Do not rush this sale, serious buyers will pop up, if not then there is no one serious here on OPE.

I am not a Stihl guy and I generally don't care about Stihl sales, but I do tend to blow fuses when I see tyre kicking!
Do not fall for it!

GLWS :beer-toast1:

P.S.:
This is about the nicest looking used 090 I have seen for sale for a decent price in like "ever" !

DO NOT RUSH THIS SALE ! ! !

When? In USA we have to account for inflation, so they've probably gone up to $2000 if adjusting for Stihl's price increases.
Honestly, last I bothered to check German EBay several months ago, maybe half a year.

So yeah, I guess the prices went up.

1AM for me, I am working the PM shift, having a really s#itty week - just "work with me".

Right now the Euro is low in relation to the US dollar so buying there is not as bad as it was years back. They do not want to deal with Americans though. Right now the US dollar is worth $0.945 Euro. If I send $1000 Euros it costs $1057US. I have see $1000 Euros cost $1500-1600 US

You kinda got that wrong!
It is the USD that fluctuates like a lightbulb in the storm.

But, yes - currently the difference in currency value is fairly low.
