066 red light? fw crank seal size issue

Interesting.
Is the crank same size at the bearing (17mm shooting from the hip) ?
Would it be convenient to machine a bushing for the ID of the seal, or would it be too thin?
Seems the bearing would have no trouble passing over it if needed.

I looked those seals up on my master interchange book and sure enough they must be one of those Stihl deals where they own the rights to them .Typical Germans .
