glad you appreciate the humor. The odd thing is the press in video of the guys doing it really incredibly similar to mine just a different color.

got the new west crankshaft in today. and yeah, compared to my crankshaft, its a night and day difference. meaning my crankshaft is worn out. but gee wiz this new one sure does look aftermarket.

wish i could just replace the needle cage lower rod bearing on my old one.

Try that oem crank. I think it’s used but not worn out, yet. Again, tough to go by video diagnosis.

That saw is giving you issues, I know. Those are usually the ones that build knowledge (and blood pressure).

I’m into this series so let me know if you need help.

yes, this saw was definitely a learning curve. the old cranks going back in, ive had enough.

ended up messing up a new bearing taking it apart. so the new bearings in the freezer for the night.. then its all set.

ive replaced everything on this saw at least once except the pto side case half. thrown bout 1500$ into the friggin thing.

some saw-lover down the road wants to buy it for 750$ and hes probably guna get it once its done.
