It did not like factory timing one bit... so much so that it wasn't even worth recording.
In the after video I have .010 filed off the key so I decided that I'd give it a run with .020 filed off and it was even better.
I wouldn't compare the cut time from this to cuts before since for one this cut was through a section of knots and I was damn near sitting on it compared to before... and the whole hitting a rock thing. My apologies to Dave.

Now I have to get to filing on this poor chain.
I thought I did a better job cleaning that log off. I guess I'm gonna have to strip all the bark from now on.

If you haven't sharpened it yet, I can bring my Timberline down this weekend. We can see how well that does on saving a rocked-out Stihl chain.

I'll be trying out a few more keys when I replace the fuel line tomorrow. As weak as it was at the factory timing I'm thinking it may still want more.

See you when you get here Dave. I took care of your chain and it's ready to cut. It wasn't all that bad. I did get achance to give the 394/066 hybrid the final port work and back together this evening, so we'll probably get to see it cut too.

Dropped off Don's 026 and a Poulan with @Chainsaw Jim . More importantly, picked up my 044.

This is a beast! We got it up to about 16K before it started going lean, so we tuned it out to 15K. It breezed through that cant like it was nothing. Phenomenal job Jim!!!!!

A shame the 066/394 wasn't ready. Wish we could have stayed longer. Got back to Hillsboro just in time to pick up the dogs from the boarder.

Definitely gonna be cutting this week. I have some area to clear for apple trees and a deer feeder....
