I will say if I was working all day with the saw and only had the choice to choose between 362 and a 036, I’d choose the 362 for the better av.

Sorry to here that on both. The flu has been bad this year.
It's been brutal. Watching the news with all the children and old folk passing away breaks my heart.

That hurts Dom. I hope the best for you
It does Kev. I really enjoy my job, but I have to put my passion aside to provide for my family. It's sad letting go of a job you love. The fresh air, the saw cackling in my hands, the scents of all the species...it truly has a romance.

Sorry for the derail! Honestly, buy what ever makes you happy OP. I've got both, like em both plenty.

Cant beat a ms 361 or a ported 036 parts are easily available for 036 oem new and used .361 has spring vibe like 562 quad port transfers with a muff mod timing advance and base delete both models really wake up. I can honestly say ive never ran a 562. Its pretty tough to beat a 361 stock
The 562 is one saw that has proven to need a base gasket .......... flanges have broken without gaskets, no issues when gaskets are utilized

I seem to remember all the testing because they kept going back and forth because they thought the MOFO 360 was better in one log, and the MMWS 362 was better in the other.

But maybe I'm just getting old and senile and don't remember things about my saws too well.

The collar on the cylinder is .020" longer than the depth of the case. I'm assuming this is an oversight on the broken ones.

No
Much smarter and more experienced guys than myself have gone through all of the headaches trying to run no gasket.

Have you looked into going out on your own? Believe me there is headaches but I think there is with any job.
After my divorce my credit was ruined. I would easily be able to make it as far as having work, I spent my life making a good name for myself. 20171207_102953.jpg 20171208_110252.jpg 20171028_121444.jpg
