Lovely little update no vids yet, hopefully that will come tomorrow or so. I have filed a total of .032 off the key and it seems to start better yet not much difference in response. However that is due to the choked out muffler and air filter. It has this type of hd filter and it still has the green peice in side it, the green will be coming out tomorrow may even get a hd2 style eventually.
On top of that it has the baffle in the muffler still, I don't really want a open muffler so I'm leaving it, but it still has the secondary baffle in the cover piece, I drilled holes in it but I'm just going to cut it out completely. Also going to open the small hole to the left on the muffler up about triple in length. That should get it much better flowing
Also went ahead and 3d printed a choke lever had to cut it up and such to fit but works excellent.
I measured timing and it is around 26-27* now I may take a little more off the key but doubt it will make much difference. The big thing is I unfortunately have to run a 8 pin sprocket. When I bought this bar I bought a pack of 3 chains from the dukes website idk how good the chains are compared to Stihl but they cut. I'm going to do some timed cuts with full comp, semi skip, and full skip and see what I get. This has some pretty decent torque as is but that 8 pin isn't really doing me favors. If I end up taking the cylinder off I may raise the exhaust another 2*.
Final pic of the saw will get a full weight once the dogs show up and I fuel it completely compared to my 261 filled. Would also like to put a elasto start rope on because it's a bit rough sometimes as is if the decomp pops to easy.
