Okay, so the intake was less than stellar when it came to matching the intake boot and I couldn't stomach the way it looked, so here's what I done.......

Now that the carbon has been removed from the piston crown and the combustion chamber, I'm sure to get a more accurate squish reading.

Is it feasible to advance the timing 1/2 key on these or.............?
I had cobby08 send me 1/2 doz keys and I filed a few. Just wondering if I should try an advance while I have the flywheel removed?

Yeah
Once the carbon was removed from the squish band and the piston dome, I got a looser measurement.
Up against the wall I'm getting about 0.0165" but the band is measuring 0.026.

So what probably coulda been solved by a carb cleaning, turned into a minor performance mod.

yeah i didnt worry about a muff mod. once running rite they are a torquey little fella!
Here's another one I did up.
