028 cylinder question

the new Gardner literature came today and they are touting some new Raisman products including a cylinder that fits the MS250 and 028 - whaaaat?
that has got to be a typo right?

Maybe should have been MS280 and 028. Or if a clamshell an 025 to go with the MS250.

as far as I know there isn't a decent aftermarket 028 or 028 cylinder at all, probably because there are a billion dead parts saws out there
I was sure it was a typo because the MS250 and 028 are completely different cylinders
I have never had one in hand but I think the MS280 is also a totally different saw from the 028 too.

Your right, the MS280 is the different style clamshell type also. So the it won't work on the 028.

I'm not sure if they are still around....I have a new set here that I got in a dealer buy out. I know a few guys have used them and had nothing but good to say about them.

Yes typo I think. It must be 025 and MS250. I had not heard of a Raisman 028. I will have to check the Raisman catalogue.

Tecomec made a real nice 028 P&C set actually.

Tecomec had the best 028 until they quit making aftermarket parts.
The Hyway 028 kit is probably the next best. Some of our customer really like it with the Meteor piston.

I had a raisman p/c on a 55 and I wasn't impressed.

They switched manufacturers to be competitive but the quality suffered.
