Randy, I'm always "nervous" to bump up a bucket saw too much as it needs to be easy starting while in a tree. Even a little base gasket delete has given my 200t a little extra needed "tug" on the starter rope.
Do you think that is from changing the timing numbers or increased compression ?

That would be cool! I've got a 200t and a 201t here that a friend dropped off for some lovin.
I was just going to muff mod gasket delete and timing advance... But now that I've got tools,and I'll have the jug off already...

Jon just checked compression on one of these. 210.....

My gauge might need a new Shrader valve.

Any idea where to get them? I tried a bicycle tube valve but it was to stiff. I couldn't get my 6400 above 40 psi. So I switched it with the relief one and it's got 185 psi.

Muffler mods are the cheapest and easiest gains. Make sure you retune your carb.

You need a three screw carburetor to do it proper. The others will jump in about the timing advance..

I am looking at the 026/MS260 saws first for the gains that may be accomplished -- then branch out from there.
I have some on the bench to use for experimental purposes. I've seen the wood-ruff key filed approximately .020 or so for timing advance and done quite a few muffler mods on these saws. They respond well to the muffler mod. Just throwing this questions out to learn.

I did an 026 and I think I cut between 1/3 and 1/2 off the key. Along with that I removed base gasket and did muff mod.
Saw was very impressive with those simple mods. be sure to check squish if you remove gasket.

I did mine last week with a gasket delete and it runs pretty sporty now....
Also that 2nd carb works fine In It so far Dave. Both worked great ! Thanks.

Tried a gasket delete one time and it was a headbanger and not 1987 axle rose we are talking 2011 pre-tummy tuck Vince Neil

I don't advance ignition on the 200, bot I do bump the comp. Luckydad won't hardly use a stock one anymore. But I see what you are saying for sure.

I bought a set with several awhile back, but they are gone now.

Check a Snap On dealer. I think I read somewhere they carry a service kit that has several light spring schrader valves in it
