Any other history on this series? Like with the 044, when did badges change from metal to stickers. Which versions are most desirable etc etc? I know Al prefers Metal Mesh air filter to flocked, anything else to look for???

No, it doesn`t use chain oil. Drain the oil tank and use it without oil. The remaining oil in the pump is enough for lubricating the oil pump. I think on the Stihl homepage you can find a owners manual.

Hey there, I'm having a heck of a time finding affordable Walbro WT-194 carburetors. Any leads?

Can’t the top plate on a WT-426 be swapped for the WT194’s?

My local Stihl dealer told me that he could no longer get the 194’s. So they started using the 426 and using a MS260 air filter and cover. Have no way of confirming this.

Do any of you have the P/N for the 026 pro adjustable oil pump?

Edit:
Stihl adjustable oil pump conversion kit.

Yes it can. And that works too. I have had decent luck with chinese 194s also. The primary and secondary idle fuel ports on a 194 are set up better but the venturi is about the same size on them
