I didn't know they made 404 in 050 . All mine is 063 .
If the deal on the chain is good enough, sometimes it is worth buying a bar that fits it.

I have seen lots of deals on 0.058 chain that would be worthwhile. If you have, can find, or convert a bar to .404, .050 chain, go for it!

Seen .58 gauge, you can still get some Carlton .58 404 up here.
The stuff I bought is skip tooth and had two packages of pre-sets so why not. 40 bucks for a new/unused roll of 25’ is worth it to me.

I’ve never seen 50 gauge 404 either.

My EGO 56Volt 6Ah battery pack came in today.
Damn, this thing is packing some weight, and size!
Best case scenario, it will serve for 18650 Li-Ion cell salvage and I manage to flip some of the cells retrieving what I have in this pack and still have some quality cells left for myself. ;)
Worst case scenario the fuse blew and I will enter a whole new level of battery powered equipment.
Other battery packs for scale.

I am loving the rubber padded outer case, next to no outer damage to the pack! :)
My 80v Greenworks are pretty sizable. The 2 Amp saw & blower batteries aren't that bad, however the 4 Amp mower batteries are like 2 inches longer and feel and weigh about like an old motorcycle battery.

Picked up bar oil and a Oregon Advance Cut chain for my Super XL Auto from Menards.

The Advance Cut chain is replacing a Carlton safety chain that I was not happy with at all. The Advance Cut is better but the rakers are the odd bent over type and feel like they need to be lower. But for a play toy saw it cuts pretty good.

I'm one of those guys that run 058 . I run it in 3/8 on 18" , 20" , 24" and 28" bars . I know you can find some good deals on the 058 chain . I just found a 25 foot roll for like $63 afew weeks ago . I bought it and made two 28" and three 20" loops .
