Nice running saws. Never claimed mine to be the fastest, just a well balanced saw

The 346 platform is simply faster, sorry Stihl guys.

I respect the other builders very much, as I respect the members here.

Cool videos.

Hey Doc, you may be onto something milling the pop ups off the pistons. Was talking today to a guy that used to be into car racing, and he said they had combustion trouble with the pop ups because the combustion chamber ended up being like a thin arched ribbon instead of like it should be (they were bumping up compression also).

I am a righty, and I don't care what no one says, if you run that MOFO, you will be impressed as I am with it, I do believe the quad port is a newer, superior design but that doesn't mean the 026 isn't a formidable saw, well balanced is the perfect description.

my mofo 262 is my favorite saw, old school non-decomp dual transfer bad-assness. better put on your big boy shoes to start it but its a blast to run.

Good Morning Mike. I still have my 44.3mm OEM 346 P&C sitting on a shelf here. It's waiting for me to find the time to mount it on top of a 350.
I gots a 350 and want to do the same thing! Man I think were both pretty smart!

One of my favorite saws to build. Parts are cheap and plentiful. Nasty little buggers once done. I'm sure you will make a runner out of it.
