Yes it has the 75cc topend. You can interchange topends on older saws. Mine is a 2000 chassis I think if I’m not mistaken.Stihl 460 is 76cc. I assume your 372 us the newer, bigger saw?
The stock, new 6100 I ran was a turd. The ported ones I'e seen, once broken-in, are pretty amazing. But I love the feel of my 562 and the auto-tune. I have plenty to pick from: Stihl MS201T, 012AV, MS261, Husky 142, MMWS 346xpOE, 550xp, MMWS 262xp, 562xp, Stmpbroke 372xp, MMWS Dolmar 9010. Everything not ported has been at least muffler modded or more, aside from the 201T. I wouldn't mind an Echo 620 (ported of course), but I'm not going to buy one right now.Had a stock 6100, wasn’t really any faster than a stock 357xp. It wasn’t completely broke in to be fair though. I like my 562 and the autotune is a really nice feature. Pulls a 28” impressively for 60cc and oils it too.
That was my findings too, I was impressed with for only being 60 cc, I actually like the auto tune myself. A 6100 is a nice saw but pretty big physically compared to a 562Had a stock 6100, wasn’t really any faster than a stock 357xp. It wasn’t completely broke in to be fair though. I’d like to run another one that’s been broken in or ported. I like my 562 and the autotune is a really nice feature. Pulls a 28” impressively for 60cc and oils it too.
Wow. All built on the same chassis? I really don't know much about them. I ran a couple of Sondre's saws at CT gtg. They were nice saws. There 60cc saws are the same size as their 70 and 80cc saws
The solo's are all the same chassis, and they are damn near same as Dolmars.Wow. All built on the same chassis? I really don't know much about them. I ran a couple of Sondre's saws at CT gtg. They were nice saws.
9010 ... I have a weakness for those. The stock, new 6100 I ran was a turd. The ported ones I'e seen, once broken-in, are pretty amazing. But I love the feel of my 562 and the auto-tune. I cut a decent amount of firewood, mainly Hedge, Oak and Locust and large trunks are possible, but all of very large canopies and usually more canopy than trunk wood making the small saws more of a necessity than just a convenience.
It's going to be for sale soon. I love the saw, and it has torque for days, but I'm making some changes in my lineup with an eye towards the future.9010 ... I have a weakness for those.
Dickered with 044/440 jumble saw, went through some teething issues to get it to this point, but is finally running enough to say it's alive. Learned a few things along the way on this build, not everything went easy peasy, like it should have. Hope it to be a good felling saw for myself.
