I originally thought so when I created that first video. It ran fine that day. Not so sure now.
That style of porting requires less fuel I believe. If I put my ported cylinder on it, it runs fine. If I put Popcorn back on it, it's 4 stroking occasionally in the cut, creating the pop. Either the mtronic won't adjust lean enough or it won't adjust quick enough before I get tired of listening to it. Which has been about a half, 3/4 tank. More mtron parts are on the way

The hotter the saw is, the less it pops. Which makes me think it's 4 stroking, and not so much a "pop"

I can’t remember, did a standard carb make a difference in the popping?

I could never make one pop like that, even with a 066 carb

Depends. Some days yes....some no. It's an a$$hole saw. Does what it wants, when it wants. One day it'll cut that block in 20 seconds. The next day it takes 25. No rhyme nor reason to it. Im cornfused

Yes. The jms is the one that pops. Even with the lowers filled.
The one I ported is the first vid above. Saw runs perfect with it on it
