Sako trg 42 338 Lapua with nightforce 5.5-22x56 scope. Oldest rifle I have in the arsenal, finally shot out the factory barrel and am waiting it’s return with the new 30” barrel so I can go play with the ELR game again. Goal is to stretch it past 2000 yards as much as I can. I'll shoot ya round for round at those distances, but first I need a new set of 30 yr young eyes...hell I can't even see 1900+ yards anymore unless the target is 10'x10'…

that would be a fun time! The target was a 24”x24” steel plate, there was some gusty crosswinds through the valley but I managed a few impacts.

I still want to pick up a m107a1, but its hard to do that when ya got a bunch of other hobbies sucking up the $$.. hah! I am in flight school and could have a new m107 with what its going to cost me to get my private license. Damn air planes are too expensive!

I bet 40 gr sitting on top of varget would be over 4000fps. I might have to look that up later. It would be a barrel burner for sure and maybe light...oh but the carnage it would do on game..

Most reg 22-250’s are 14. But I’m not sure why you’d have a 26” heavy barrel at 14?
