I'd really like to find something AWD that way I can use it for other things besides pavement. Looked at a Honda pilot and Volvo xc90 so far. Really liked both of them. I'm a truck guy,but I'm wanting something the family can all get in and be a little adventurous in and not have to worry about get stuck on wet grass and good fuel economy.

They are all great while new and under warranty. But second hand or out of warranty they have alot of needless failures due to the over complexity and over anxious computer strategies.

Find an older Lexus LS400. V8 4 doors amd if you can keep your foot out of it you can get high 20s. Was just watching a video on a 1,000,000 mile one and besides timing belts and 3 trans rebuilds the motor is untouched.
I had one, great ride, did an intake gasket and front brakes over 5 yrs that was it.
That little 4.0 runs very smooth, and riding in them is odd as they are so quiet.
I've noticed I rarely see one rusted out, I'd guess it's partially because folks who own them care for them better, but I think the metal on them is of better quality and they have better undercoating.
What I didn't like about mine was that the registration goes off the vehicles price when it was new here in Michigan.
I'd rock one again, solid ride.
I put a set of 430 wheels on mine, they fit the wheel wells a lot nicer.

Put a set of blizzaks on the ls400 and you could do some damage on the grass lol.

Lol,no doubt. I would really like to get another 4x4 truck, but man they are expensive down here used(new is absolutely insane) iirc I looked at a '10 f150 4x4 it had 210,000 miles on it and they still wanted 15-16,000 for it. Its just stupid.

Any issues with your dash lights going out while plowing?
Theres an updated harness for the alternator that connects to the plow solenoid to sense the big voltage drop quicker. I've installed a bunch of them.
No issues with dash lights that I've noticed. Only issue is on cold starts around zero the radio faults out. Not plow related, original battery related..
