Im still getting into the foxes, shot 5 a few nights ago, heading out again in a couple of nights as the sheep are lambing.

Shot 4 foxes
last night, unable to recover 1 as he was on the other side of a waterway.
1 was shot running with have a rabbit in its mouth.
Lambing has started now and im trying to keep the fox numbers down.

He was a fine specimen, over time the teeth wear down, this fox would have been about 2.5 years old and in his prime.Dang...didn't know they had those kinda chompers on them!

Shot 3 foxes last night, this vixen was shot off a a dead lamb carcass, 10mins later shot a dog fox coming into the same carcass.The vixen has clearly been feeding young, unsure where the den is though?

We use buckshot on coyotes, mostly because that was what we have shotguns loaded with most of the time.
We had a gang of dogs that were good coyote killers too. That was when I got to see just how mean a determined blue heeler could be. She went from a doofus to forty-five pounds of straight up killing machine. Bella, Rex, Duke, Snort & Mac kept coyotes at bay for a long time.

Grandad had a seemingly lazy Bloodhound, yet he would morph into a canine Grim Reaper when stray mongrels ventured onto the property. Use to just rip possums and raccoons to shreads...NO FEAR!

We have an underground fence with stubborn dog collars turned to max. Both our bull terriers will no longer cross it. I have had coyotes outside line barking at our dogs. Male bull terrier would start yodeling, or sounded like it. Coyotes never came into yard, but they were shot with a 22mag and night scope. Duce seemed very disappointed.
