Those bars were only in .325 Ken. Not 3/8

Ok so I checked and the versa cut is like my ES stihl bar that it has no grease hole. The manufacturers probably realized it wasn’t needed?

I wonder why Tsumura uses them? And I think my Oregon has them.

I noticed my older oregon powermatch’s have them. Who knows the true reason? I’ll complain if it fails...

The oil hole is much larger in the versacut than the powermatch. Good improvement.

Maybe different bearings used in them? Interesting. I do have an old Stihl bar, used and abused that is fine and has no grease holes.

Well people. I have worn out the versacut bar. I was hoping to run the next gauge chain up in it soon, but the tip blew up. Bar paid for itself for sure. If it lasted me couple months logging... it’ll last you PSP’s (ported saw polishers) a good while. So what's the trick for getting rivets out without drilling them out if you need to change a tip?

Maybe different bearings used in them? Interesting. I do have an old Stihl bar, used and abused that is fine and has no grease holes.

Some nose sprockets have side shields / shim discs between the bearings and the inside of the bar side walks. Most STIHL and these newer Oregon bars have this.
