Nice! Thanks for the vid! Of course, not the best wood, but it seems to me the stock 462 is not that far away from the 441. It also should handle better, lighter and more nimble. What's your opinion? Oh, and i have to say, that's a beautiful landscape there

I was surprised with the times. A bit lighter but what you saw is about as much time I have had with the 462. Handle better? Yes I guess but I am not woodsman by any means.
Thanks! Dad has a fantastic property covered in kangaroos. Spring time so nice and green. Mid summer the grass has completely browned off.

I am tired of waiting too. I have a good friend stationed in Germany in the Army. He's back home in November. He can get me a 462 But it's pretty pricey. Should I want for the US saw or pull the trigger

Tough call, as we are in the blind as to how long the wait will be.

Hey, just think, you could bring it in to your local Stihl dealer for service, and they will look at you like your from Mars!

Priceless!

Everyone go buy a 461. Sooner they're gone the sooner you get the 462. 461 may be listed after like the 660 and sell for MSRP after the 462 isout and too floppy for loggers

Logic says that a 6kg powerhead with spring av is going to feel horrible to the guys who think a 32 on a 70cc saw is a good idea. That's ported 90cc territory around me, so idgaf.

yup.. 28" would be the biggest i would stick on this.. even the 661 feels a bit doughy with the 32 when it comes to side cuts. fine for blocking.
