The white saw does seem like something is holding it back.

The Blue painters tape version is a new OEM 020T cylinder.
It is @90-100 dollars cheaper and seems to run as well as or damn near as well as the OEM MS200t cylinder.
Steve rebuilds a lot of these so I sent him one to try out. Several of my regular customers really like them and there is enough price difference to make it very interesting.
OEM fit and finish at a price point that is very close to a Meteor kit.
Food for thought :)
Dave

I still have to take the screen out of the 200T with the original cylinder quad port and I am thinking it will pick up at least 1 second or more. But they run so close its no big difference , the 020T cyl is a great buy. You cant beat OEM quality.

so youre putting 020t cylinders on 200t crankcases? how well do the transfer entrances in the crankcase line up with the cylinder? ive never tried...very interesting.

Well what prices do you have there? The ports line up good enough so it runs fine.

I thought this could be done.....remember we were talking about this Steve ?
I sure do but I had to officially test it out to see for my self. Dave has an interest in selling those OEM cylinders if you need one. I still need to do one more run with the screen out to see the difference!

And the 020t carby too.
1129 120 0654 C1Q-S127 $66 or a $20 chinese carb if they are being cheapskates. Personally i prefer the accelerator pump carb rather than the copycat chinese carb that has the pump deleted. They idle and accelerate better with the OEM carb but some guys are just after price so i give em the option.

020T is something like $120 and the 200T cylinder is $200. would have to dig up part numbers to be sure but that is at least close to what i am paying for em.

they sure do accelerate better ...but the pump cant fail when it aint in the carb to begin with.
the copycat is gambling....sometimes you win...sometimes you don't.
