I just watched a video on YouTube with one. The guy is in south Africa and says he wanted the m-tronic version but settled for the standard carb version he bought.
I really like having that option with a saw.

So they make two versions of this thing? One m-tronic and one with a regular carb?

It seems like they have both versions but I don’t think I have found any with both in the same market. Carbed version seems to be in areas with the worst fuel supply. Eastern Europe, Russia and South Africa so far.

took it apart a little more to see how it's made. this thing is easy to work.
need to lift the cylinder to change manifold and impulse hose.
I like what I see.

I like that they kept the throttle wire instead of going to a cable. Nice and simple, doesn’t wear out fast.

I am pretty sure @nohoff or @DND 9000 posted those already and have all the latest IPL’s in English as well.

Yes the new rescue saw will be the 462.
And they made a standard carb versions for some countrys.

a few basics, mm, ign timing, port match, gasket delete. looking at how it responds to little changes.

I think the wood is inconsistent, saw feels better but showing slower times. we'll get it worked out.

You're in a different time zone. That's what threw ya off.

I counted a 4-5 second improvement comparing the before and after. Comparing Scott's cut times, the fastest I could come up with for the after video is approximately 42 seconds vs about 47 seconds before.
